Monica "Monique" MonrosMonique was born and raised in Sweden. She has been a proud citizen of the USA for the past 12 years. She performs mostly in the Los Angeles, Southern California and Hawaii areas but is also available for travel to conventions, tradeshows and cruiseships worldwide. Miss Monros has performed at more than 5,000 events during 15 years. She has performed for many celebrities including: Johnny Carson, Dustin Hoffman, Shannon Doherty, Steven Spielberg, Casey Kasem, Ed McMahon and Aaron Spelling. Monique has also performed for Royal families, including ~ the First Family of Indonesia and Princess Sadeem of Araby, during their visits to Los Angeles. She frequently performs at the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. Monique is the author and publisher of the Book and Video on "Instant Magic Costume Changes" sold to magicians worldwide. She is featured as "Atida the Magic Genie" in a permanent magic display in the amusement center "TropWorld" at the Tropicana hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In a television commercial for Delta Sonic, she was the featured hula-dancer. She performed standup comedy at the "Improvisation" club in Hollywood, with Judy Carter's standup comedy workshop. Monique has lectured about "Magic Costume Changes" at the famous Magic Castle and for the International Brotherhood of Magicians in Hollywood. She has won several magic awards (listed on the main page). Ms. Monros was the "covergirl", featured on the front page of the world's largest magazine for magicians. She is a member of SAG, AFTRA, SAM, IBM and Academy of Magical Arts. Monique has also performed numerous shows for many country clubs, motion picture studio parties and corporate events.
